The Letter 03:05
I converse with demon and dream of an afterlife/ where God and the devil fight for a glimpse at heavens light/ when the stars bright deep in the moonlight there goes my plight/hold my soul tight repent pray I can make it through the night/ when it’s over bloody battlefields laced with green clovers/ where Lady Luck presides and collides with super novas/ now the alt-right is a outright resurgence of white might/ where clan members rock Armani slacks and kill kikes/ burn tiki torches call blacks niggas in Bart bright/ now the enemy of the people is the media/ is it nationalism or white privilege that that be leading them/ cynicism thats feeding them/ diversities the root cause /neo-nazis like puppets misinterpret the laws/ run for the border army’s of caravans await the slaughter/ In this new order can’t no body make it through/ alter your timeline now sip the bitches brew Yo! I see your fear through an atmosphere of disturbance/ virtual incapacity with no chance for convergence / my version inconspicuous I still keep it meticulous/ populace in its stimulus/ hatred always continuous/ giving them something they can feel but not paraplegic/ collegiate in every single thought methodically strategic/ I know the ledge through the perforated edge of a mead binder/ chronicle every word from my pen like meat grinders/ I see the world through clear cut diamonds/ you see through blinders/ my skin and every confederate flag is a reminder/ that everything I ever achieved somebody lied for/ And ever single door I walked somebody died for/ no sad stories only said sentiments of reprieve/ O, what a tangled web they weave when America deceives/ so now I leave you with a few thoughts and one word/ you can never escape the past if your future lines are blurred.

about

This album is being released and is dedicated in the memory of my mother Jacqueline Wilcox on her birthday September 11, 2022. My mother past away January 13, 2022 from colon cancer. It changed my life and the direction of this album. My mom was so full of life and until the day she died she believed she would live. I wanted to capture her optimistic spirit and courage on this album. From "Around My Way" to the last track "Heaven (Mama Said)", the essence of my Mom can be felt throughout this album. It is my most personal album to date. So, just sit back relax and press play. I hope my Moms positive and loving personality fills you with the love she gave me and my sisters, her Grand children and everyone that came in to contact with her.
